This is book 4 in the extended Fire Ridge Pride series by Jae Greyn. Jae has been revisiting two of her most popular series, Blood-rights and Fire Ridge Pride, combining some books, adding more details plus placing them into a more linear timeline. I like to think of this book as the Indigo, Remi and Riot mashup. Yes, it's a longer book but it makes sense and it's still under 300 pages. That's a good thing for me!!!

I am really enjoying how this series is shaping up and all the added details makes her books come alive.

I can't imagine the work involved in taking these two series and rewriting them from the ground up. So many characters, so much detail, keeping the timeline straight, not to mention all the things that happened in the past that reshape future happenings. I wouldn't have the patience to do this, it's a good thing I'm not an author.

This book also contains one of my favorite lines concerning Lou... "Somebody shook up his snowglobe, cracked the glass, and let all the water out.”

Can't wait to see what she has in store for us next!!!
